Jaw Crusher Product Introduction

Jaw crusher, commonly known as jaw breaker, is the primary coarse crushing equipment in sand and gravel production lines and ore crushing processes. It crushes materials through the squeezing action between the moving jaw and fixed jaw. It is suitable for coarse crushing of various ores and rocks with compressive strength ≤ 320 MPa. It is often matched with cone crushers, impact crushers and sand making machines to form a complete crushing production line. It is a classic and widely used crushing equipment in the mining and aggregate industry.

Working Principle

The motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate via the pulley, which pushes the moving jaw to perform periodic reciprocating swing. When the moving jaw approaches the fixed jaw, materials inside the V-shaped crushing chamber are crushed by squeezing, splitting and bending force. When the moving jaw leaves the fixed jaw, qualified materials are discharged from the bottom discharge opening under gravity. Oversized lumps stay in the chamber for further squeezing and crushing. The discharge opening size is adjustable to control the finished product size.
